As next spring and summer brides begin to shop for wedding gowns, the popular trends often dismiss the traditional style of wedding dresses. It is all about the bold, the sparkle and the lace. The biggest trends in 2013 will really showcase the bride’s individual style.

Why not go Bold? One of the biggest trends is wedding dresses with color. No more white, cream, and ivory. Think about a red, lush pink or sky blue wedding dress. Picture a Christmas wedding in Central Park, where the bride walks down the aisle in a crystal embellished red gown. Picture a Valentine’s Day wedding, where the bride wears beautiful one shouldered lush pink gown that adds loveliness and elegance to the worldwide day of love. The possibilities are endless and choosing a gown with color will surely give the guests a lasting impression of the gorgeous bride and her day. Another popular trend is wedding dresses with crystals and lace. These types of gowns are perfect for winter weddings. Imagine a strapless white gown covered in lace and small crystals, making the bride the queen of her own winter wonderland. The crystal gives the dress the wow factor to make the bride sparkle and shine, while the lace adds simplicity and pulls the dress together. At the end of the day, a bride has so many more options to make the dress an original masterpiece. Every bride should research and find those oh la la aspects to make their wedding dresses truly one of a kind.
